These terms apply to your use of the Together app, this website and the Together text message program. Together is operated by JAM Enterprises, doing business as Together. By using Together you agree to them.

What Together is

Together helps families coordinate the care of an aging parent or relative: medication schedules and reminders, visits and shared notes. It is a reminder and organizing tool only. It is not medical advice, a medical device or an emergency service, and it does not replace a doctor, pharmacist or caregiver. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions. In an emergency, call 911.

Your responsibilities

• Check that medication names, doses and times in Together match the prescription or label. Suggestions from a label scan can be wrong, so always check them.
• Only enter a phone number for a person who is happy to receive texts from Together, and keep your sign-in details private.
• Do not use Together for anything unlawful.

Text message terms (Together Medication Reminders)

• Program: Together sends medication reminders and confirmations to the person being cared for, and missed-dose alerts to caregivers who choose to receive them.
• Consent: The person being cared for receives reminders only after replying YES to our first message. A caregiver agrees by entering their own number in the app. Consent is not a condition of buying anything.
• Frequency: Messages are sent when a medication is due. The person being cared for receives up to 8 messages a day, including our replies. Caregivers receive up to 4 missed-dose alerts a day.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
• To get help: reply HELP or email support@togetherfamilycare.com.
• To stop: reply STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation and then no more messages. Reply START to start again.
• Carriers: Mobile carriers and Together are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reminders may arrive late or not at all, so do not rely on texts as your only way to track medications.
• Privacy: See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Availability

We work to keep Together running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change, and Together is currently in early testing.

Limits on our responsibility

Together is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, JAM Enterprises is not responsible for harm that results from missed, late or incorrect reminders, incorrect information entered into Together, or reliance on Together instead of professional care.

Ending use

You can stop using Together at any time and ask us to delete your information (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Together means you accept the update.
