Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains how JAM Enterprises, doing business as Together ("Together", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Together app, this website and our text messages.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and your name or nickname.
- Care information that you or your family enter: the name of the person being cared for; medication names, doses and times; visit schedules; notes; and whether doses were marked as taken.
- Photos: profile photos you choose to add, and photos of medication labels that you choose to scan.
- Phone numbers: the mobile number of the person being cared for and, if a caregiver turns on missed-dose alerts, the caregiver's mobile number. We also keep the time zone used for reminders.
- Text message records: when reminders were sent, replies to them (for example "1" or "YES"), and records of when someone agreed to receive texts.
- Technical information: basic data needed to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and error logs.
How we use it
- To run Together: show schedules, send medication reminders, record confirmations and send missed-dose alerts.
- To read a medication label photo and suggest the details, which the coordinator checks before saving.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
We do not use your care information for advertising.
Text messages
We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. We keep a record of that agreement. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information and text message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See how our text messages work.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run Together, and only as needed for that purpose:
- a hosting and database provider, which stores the information you enter;
- a text messaging provider, which delivers our texts; and
- an artificial intelligence service, which reads medication label photos you choose to scan and returns the text it finds.
Within a family, information is shared with the people the coordinator invites to the care circle. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect safety.
Keeping information safe
Information is stored with access controls so that only members of a family's care circle can see that family's information. Photos are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information while your account is active. To ask us to correct or delete your information, or the information of the person you care for, email support@togetherfamilycare.com and we will respond promptly.
Not medical or emergency service
Together is a coordination and reminder tool. It is not a healthcare provider, and we are not a medical provider or a "covered entity" under HIPAA. Do not rely on Together in an emergency; call 911.
Children
Together is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
